The song À contre-courant  À contre-courant was written by Mylène Farmer and composed by Laurent Boutonnat, like all the other songs on Mes courants électriques (2003) album. The lyrics tell a story of two lovers who for some reason are apart from each other.  The beauty of the lyrics is how the story is told. Nothing is said straight but Mylène used terms from physics and electromagnetism to describe the feeling that she (the main character of the song) feels when thinking about him. Well, that’s just one way to interprete the text as it’s very difficult to understand as is many of Mylène’s lyrics. This can be very fashinating as it gives your mind freedom to deal with the text as you wish. There is no one right answer how to interprete the text. The music video À contre-courant  The music video was directed by Pierre Stine who is also the one to suggest the final shooting location, Triage-Lavoir de Péronnes. Pierre suggested the place as he had already fil...

Best Advice: Dream Big Dreams Because You Can Dream big dreams because you can. You are never too young or too old to dream big. No one can limit you to dream big except you. Don't make excuses for dreaming big. Believe in yourself because there is something bigger and greater in you than any difficulty or struggle outside of you. Achieve your dreams by setting goals. Goals in writing are dreams with deadlines, says Brian Tracy. Writing down your goals makes them more real and more attainable; create a list of specific goals, be it on paper or on an app like Evernote.  Remain firmly committed to your dreams. Remember that perseverance is key, no dreams happen overnight. You have to stay focused and constantly moving to make your dreams come true. There is no magic wand that will do that for you. According to Jim Rohn, when you know what you want and you want it bad enough, you will find a way to get it. Focus on your goals not circumstances. Dream big because you can. Drea...

‘Sex and Zen 3D: Extreme Ecstasy’ drew in quite a crowd on its release in Hong Kong last Friday. Promoted as the world’s first 3D porn film, a sequel is already on the cards as producers enjoy an enthusiastic box office reception. The film reportedly cost around $2 million to make but its "risqué" content has landed it with a category III rating from censors, release looks unlikely in mainland China and screenings were rejected by Imax in Hong Kong. A sequel to Hong Kong’s highest grossing adult film ‘Sex and Zen’, the 3D remake is also set in the court of ancient China’s Ming dynasty and is based on the classic erotic novel ‘ The Carnal Prayer Mat’ . The 113 minute Cantonese language film stars adult entertainment VIP’s Yukiko Suo and Saori Hara and depicts a young scholar who is drawn into the sexual decadence of the royal court. Since 3D became a reality, it was only a matter of time before the adult entertainment industry made use of it. I’m no expert but I would ...
